Bandon Again
I recently managed to spend another week in the beach house in Bandon by the sea. If you ever get the chance, you really should do yourself a favor and spend a few days there.
Bandon is just a small resort town on the coast but its filled with gift shops, seafood restaurants and fishing vessels. The town is worth the visit but never forget the beautiful sight to see on the beach.
It really is an
amazing place. The
beach house we rented for
the week sits on a point of land overlooking the ocean at a place known as
Face Rock.
From the windows of our place we could see the famous rock sitting proudly there in the ocean as if to be guarding the entire coast line.
Everybody enjoyed the visit, even the puppy.
The angle from our window is not the best for viewing the rock but it is still distinguishable in the ocean foam.

We were fortunate enough to have had both sunshine and storms while we were there. When the sun shined it was absolutely beautiful. It was still a little chilly but a walk on the beach was still a must.
The beach house sits
on a point about 100 ft above the beach but there is a county stairway to
the waters edge.
The
stairway can be seen in this photo. It is free access to the entire beach
with another stairway farther south down the beach.
After the one stormy night we had the sight of the sun trying to break through the clouds was magnificent. Here is a quick view.
You can see the birds in the sky and the rays of sunlight shining down on face rock. Later in the evening the clouds gave way to the most amazing sight ever.
When you plan your next vacation be sure to include that trip to the Oregon Coast and the little town of Bandon.
