Fess Parker Vineyards

A vacation in California is always a pleasure. The Country is beautiful and the folks are friendly. I can always enjoy a casual cruise town, cities and countryside.

If you are vacationing with children there is Disneyland, Knots Berry Farm, Paramount Studio Tours, the beaches and amusement parks. All fun places for the kids and also the parents. All of these are a do not miss vacation spots.

However, if you are traveling without children you might consider a trip through the Wine Circuit of the state. The winery tours is one of the most interesting and unforgettable vacations I've ever taken.

I'm sure you will find it equally as interesting and exciting.

One of the wineries I found both pleasurable and comfortable is The Fess Parker Winery. I say both pleasurable and comfortable because it is not just a winery, it is a community.

They have a beautiful Bed And Breakfast plus spa and a general store and other amenities. Fess Parker's place is an adventure in itself. Another must see on any tour.

The picture shown above and the background here are of the Fess Parker Vineyard. And of course, more can be found at the link above.

Be sure and visit and when you get there tell them I sent you.

The Napa Valley is filled with wineries for your wine tour. Be sure to hit them all, but don't try to do it all in one day. Take several day and enjoy the whole experience.

Another fine California winery is the Barlow Vineyards located in Calistoga, California in the Napa Valley area. The Barlow Vineyards consists of only 50 acres and is only about a dozen years old but they have become an important part of the wine industry.

Barlow Vineyards

It is a winery not to be overlooked. Make sure it is on your tour list.

Napa Valley is only about 30 miles long and relatively narrow and yet it contains close to 400 wineries and vineyards.

With a warm climate the Napa Valley is an ideal spot for the production of the many different wines.

The two wineries listed above are only the beginning of a wonderful, entertaining and educational vacation. So, pack up the car and get rolling.

Your vacation tour is waiting.
